PICK AND PLACE

We showed off a pick-and-place machine at the 2017 Fruit and Vegetable Conference in Savannah, Georgia.

Our ABB Flexpicker^(R) Demo was programmed to pick up three blueberry clamshells and pack them in a box for palletizing. This is just one of many possible applications we chose to highlight - this robot is very flexible and has a wide range of material handling capabilities and applications.

Our goal

Our goal for this system is to respond to a recurring need in the Fruit and Vegetable packing industry: Pick and place multiple clamshells to reflect current packaging requirements.

VARIETY OF APPLICATIONS

This machine can be programmed to perform the tedious task of packing finished product, and can handle a variety of materials and shapes by changing the End of Arm Tool (EOAT) used.
